hey cormac. i would take the line test walk out. the rest looks of a higher standard. if it was a more polished walk i'd leave it in. i love the bit where the super hero takes off. nice work my friend. hadn't seen that bit before:)

Looks great Cormac!
The first bit of animation where the monster is knocked out is deadly and it's a great way to start your showreel but you follow it up with a scene where the monster is still standing- I know this is your showreel and not your film but if it were me i wouldnt do that because it doesnt read but maybe that's just me!
Is there no Photocopy stuff you'd put in, seems a shame to not put anything from it in there? Even some 3d modelling? What about some life drawing- you did some great stuff last year that I would have definitly put in :)
I'd also put more stuff in it from Super Duper and I'd also mix up the length of the scenes - you have 3 very quick bits of animation one after the other 24 seconds into it and because they're one after an other and sort of similar (looking/reactions shots)you can't appreciate them but if they were randomly in between longer scenes i think you would. Also because the colour pallete in the Earth Water and Super Duper are similar, you can't appreciate that they are two different things you worked on so instead of having them side by side I'd put something else in between them.
Just some suggestions Cormac!

To Rory, I feel that my animation from Photocopy already looks dated and stiff, especially in comparison to my stuff now.

Looking good! I really like the music. But I'd take the linetest out, too, and like Rory said, think about the order and rearrange the scenes somewhat. How about adding in info about the shots, e.g. project such'n'such, what you did on it etc. Btw when will your travels beginn?

hey alan, i would take out the tea bit for sure cause its unfinished. prob the squirrell too.(or you could leave the squirrell if ur stuck for classical? up to you) i would leave in some of the proper fully flash bits. i'd say 'poverty is a huge problem' and the 'how fair is that bit?' i would just use those two and if u really want to add in the bit 'that's not fair at all' afterwards. there's some very short scenes inbetweeen at the moment that are too quick and just an 'uh huh' or something. i think it takes away from it. just leave in two really good bits or something. be harsh on yourself. if u think something mightn't be as good as the rest..u can be sure some industry professional is gonna see it straight away. just put in the best of the best.

yeah after everyone saying if we dont think its good enough then we sudn have it in there..i think i will shorten it quite a bit..

Yeah pleasure watching it man - no point ragging on the line test - I assume thats long gone - what about some of your model sheets / character design - might kill the flow of your animation but if your creative about it, you'll be able to work around it - also I'd adgree with rory on the life drawing - hope thats of some help
